Soup Cleanse Instructions

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?

Feeling sluggish and tired? Gassy and bloated? Do you suffer from frequent headaches, mood swings and irritability? Are you experiencing hormonal problems, weight issues or skin conditions like adult acne? More importantly, do you feel like you want a body makeover?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this STOCK AND BROTH 7 DAY CHALLENGE is for you! Gut health issues can complicate every function in the body. Serious conditions related to the gut will take more time to fix, so working with your health practitioners can provide you with the help you need in the long term.

However, this program can help you put the brakes on what is happening in your body right now. You will be given a time-out from your current habits and instead, will receive nutrients from the foods that nourish your gut.

Do not be surprised if you have more energy and vitality after seven days! This challenge is a great way to start your health journey.

We have a Facebook support group to help you through the process, answer your questions and provide any extra information you need. We will send you the link before the cleanse starts.

Some people may experience mild detox symptoms such as headaches or slight rashes. If you have a fibre supplement that you like to use or are familiar with you can add it in the evenings to help flush out toxins as they are released.

 

 

7 DAY GUT RESET CLEANSE CHALLENGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Welcome to the Stock & Broth 7 Day Challenge!

The cleanse is designed for a detox without deprivation. Participants have reported weight loss, less gut issues and decreased inflammation!

Soups are frozen and need to be thawed in the fridge ahead of time, or you can thaw slightly at room temperature and transfer it into the pot to heat. Soups will last 5-7 days in the fridge when fully thawed, so no need to worry as they take a few days to completely thaw! Smoothies are frozen and need to stay in the freezer until ready to use. Simply add your preferred amount of water and blend, easy!

 The Cultured Veggies need to be kept in the fridge, never frozen. 

Drink lemon juice in water starting first thing in the morning and throughout the day for the duration. You may have black coffee, tea and herbal tea. Stevia or Monk Fruit sweeteners are allowed. You can drink Bubbly, Zevia, drinks sweetened with Stevia such as: President's Choice Blue Menu Cranberry Juice blends, as well as sparkling water, La Croix etc. As long as they are not sweetened with sugar you are good!  Avoid pop and diet pop as it is toxic to your system and can create cravings. No aspartame!

On about day 3 or 4 you will be going through a metabolic reset where your body switches over to burning fat for fuel… push through it, stay with the program and you will feel amazing! You may feel like caving or be craving carbs at this point, but if you stick with it you will wake up feeling amazing the next day! Putting an extra bit of quality sea salt in your broth will help you get through this phase.  Adding in a sugar free electrolyte sports drink will also help keep up your energy and help with potential “keto flu” symptoms such as headaches or fatigue.

Adding in fresh herbs, crispy home-made bacon bits, kale chips, roasted salted sunflower or pumpkin seeds, hot sauce, Herbemare, fresh ground pepper to your soups will give you variety, flavour, and texture to enjoy. Use your foodie imagination to create fun additions to your program!

The times listed on the instructions are suggestions only and depend upon your schedule and sleep/wake cycle. 

You may do a modified version of the fast on days that may require additional calories, protein or energy or are just too hungry and must follow these guidelines: Add in one healthy meal that includes a protein, vegetables, and fat and be under 500 calories eg; a salad with olive oil dressing and cooked chicken. Add in extra protein as needed such as cooked meats or eggs. The meal must not contain gluten, grain, dairy, sugar, or alcohol!

If needed you can add in some protein powder or extra dairy free milk to your smoothies.

** Continue to take your usual supplements with your soups/smoothie meals.

CLEANSE SCHEDULE:

Days 1 and 2 are a 2 DAY CLEANSE:  Consume 3 soups of your choice a day in 6 meals of ½ container at a time. It is a good idea to have a protein soup for breakfast to keep your blood sugar level, such as the Egg Drop. Start in the morning at a time that suits you and have some soup approximately every 2 to 3 hours.

Drink lemon in water first thing in the morning and during the day.

Goal -  Detox from sugar, dairy, gluten, grain, alcohol

The 6 soups in the 2 DAY CLEANSE are:  Egg Drop, Classic Chicken, Asian Chicken, Roasted Vegetable, Roasted Garlic, Super Green.  

DAY 3 SOUPS: Egg Drop, Tuscan Minestrone, Beef Stew,  Bone Broth 

Colon Smoothie, Cultured Veggies

Goal – Colon Cleanse

AM Lemon Water

8 am  ½ tub of warm broth 

9 am   Egg Drop Soup ½ container 

11 am  Smoothie

1:00  ½ tub Tuscan Minestrone Soup  with 1 tbs cultured veggies

6:00  ½ tub Beef Stew and 1 tbs cultured veggies

Today you get to have your Cultured Veggies! They are a big part of gut health, full of probiotics and beneficial acids that contribute in a big way to gut health!

Add them to your soups and broths or have them straight up!

 

DAY 4 SOUPS: Roasted Garlic, Roasted Vegetable, Italian Wedding Meatball, Ginger Tumeric Broth

Kidney Smoothie, Cultured Veggies

Goal – Kidney and Blood Cleanse

AM  Lemon Water

8 am  ½ tub Ginger Tumeric Broth  

9 am  ½ tub of Roasted Garlic Soup

11 am  Smoothie

1 pm  ½ tub of Roasted Vegetable Soup and 1 tbs Cultured Veggies 

6 pm  ½ container Italian Wedding Meatball soup 1 Tbs Cultured Veggies

 

DAY 5 SOUPS: Super Green, Tuscan Minestrone, Beef Stew, Ginger Beet Broth  

Liver Smoothie, Cultured Veggies

Goal – Liver Cleanse

AM Lemon Water

8 am  ½ container Ginger Beet Broth

9 am  ½ container of Super Green Soup

11 am  Smoothie

1:00  ½ container Tuscan Minestrone Soup  and 1 tbs Cultured Veggies

6 pm  ½ container Beef Stew and 1 tbs Cultured Veggies

 

DAY 6 SOUPS: Classic Chicken, Asian Chicken, Ginger Tumeric Broth, Ginger Beet Broth

Cultured Veggies 

Goal – Intermittent Fast

AM  Lemon Water

9 am  ½ container Ginger Tumeric Broth

12 pm  ½ container Classic Chicken  1 tbs Cultured Veggies

3 pm  ½ container Ginger Beet Broth

5 pm  ½ container Asian Chicken  1 tbs Cultured Veggies

 

DAY 7 SOUPS: Roasted Garlic, Super Green, Italian Wedding Meatball, Bone Broth

Clean and Green Smoothie, Cultured Veggies

Goal - Rebalance

AM Lemon Water

8 am ½ container Bone Broth

9 am  Roasted Garlic Soup

11 am Smoothie

1 pm ½ container Super Green Soup and  1 tbs Cultured Veggies

6 pm  ½ container Italian Wedding Meatball Soup and 1 tbs Cultured Veggies
